March 2008 Profile Drive

Whole Child Leon, with the help of student and community volunteers, will be conducting a month long profile drive to increase the awareness of the services and resources provided by Whole Child providers and to link as many families to these services as possible. Data collected through profiles also helps us identify community needs.

We have over 15 locations throughout Tallahassee for families to go to complete a profile and if they are in need of assistance, we will have trained staff and volunteers to assist them. The schedule and locations can be found here.

For our March profile drive, anyone who completes a profile will be entered for a chance to win one of three $100 Publix grocery gift cards! The drawing will be held at Springtime Tallahassee on Friday, March 28, 2008.

2008 Annual Meeting

Many of our partners, providers, and volunteers attended our annual meeting held on January 30, 2008. Our Chair, Rep. Loranne Ausley thanks everyone for their participation in the annual meeting of Whole Child Leon. She is grateful for your continuous support of our work and your willingness to join our efforts in building a community in which our children thrive and have a future full of hope.

Our collective success in Whole Child Leon is guaranteed by the dedication of our partner agencies and the vision of community leaders who care deeply about the future of this region and our children. As we forge ahead with our goals for 2008, she hopes we can continue to count on your support and participation. We have an ambitious agenda and it will take a communitywide effort to pull it off. She is confident we can do it – together.
